Soil-for-life® is building a community focussed on unlocking the potential of soils using the emerging science of agri-informatics. Soil-for-life® provides a toolkit for farmers to drive continuous improvements in soil health, marketable yield and agricultural sustainability. Borne out of an award-winning Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between Produce World Ltd. and Cranfield University, Soil-for-life® will allow an in-depth analysis and exploration of ‘big data’ supplied by leading farmers, providing robust scientific evidence to support and underpin sustainable, profitable agriculture through improvement in soil health at the field, farm and enterprise scale.
