Softcard is a mobile payments platform that enables users to make payments at several stores, redeem money-saving offers, and store loyalty, membership, and reward cards. Users can setup a prepaid account on Softcard and add money to it with debit cards, credit cards, and U.S. bank accounts in order to use it as payment credentials. The platform protects user information by adding multiple layers of security such as PIN-protection, encryption, and ""one call or click"" option to remotely disable the app on a misplaced smartphone. Softcard was launched by AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA, and Verizon Wireless and was later acquired by Google. It is operated from New York, United States.
