Sofasi is based in Sesto Fiorentino and Firenze (Italy), and is committed to the development, design, manufacturing, and testing of instruments for remote sensing, laboratory and in-field measurement. It is is a SME started in April 2012 by a group of researchers working at the Istituto di Fisica Applicata "Nello Carrara" (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Sesto Fiorentino (FI), Italy) on the following domain: "Aerospace optical sensors at high resolution".
