A secular, non-profit organization, SNEHA addresses the needs of Mumbai's slum women and children by working to improve their health. SNEHA recognizes that in order to improve urban health standards, their initiatives must target both care seekers and care providers. Consequently, they work at the community level to empower women and slum communities to be catalysts of change in their own right.
