The Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH) is an international society whose mission is to promote excellence and progress in hypnosis research, education, and clinical practice. SCEH has assumed a leadership role among professional hypnosis societies, while collaborating freely and enthusiastically with ASCH, ISH and Division 30 of the American Psychological Association. A distinquishing feature of the Society is its emphasis on empirical inquiry and the evidence-base of hypnosis. The Society's hypnosis training programs are scientifically based and recognized by professional schools (medical, dental, psychology, social work). SCEH also offers hypnosis certification programs for clinicians and researchers. These are Certification in Clinical Hypnosis (CCH) for clinicians, Certification in Academic and Research Applications of Hypnosis (CARH) for researchers and educators.
