Snapatar lets you update your [Twitter](/organization/twitter) profile picture using your webcam, straight from your browser. No software installation needed. Snap a picture, fill out your Twitter details and send the new image to Twitter. You can do this as often as you like. Of course you can also use Snapatar to create your first avatar image when you first join Twitter. The service does not require you to create an account with Snapatar. Snapatar was founded by Roy Tanck in conjunction with Bernalyn Internet Services in July of 2009.
