Snæland Grímsson, also knows as Snæland Travel, provides tours in Iceland and is one of Iceland’s oldest travel companies, founded in 1945 by Sigurður Snæland Grímsson and his family. What began as a small bus route between Reykjavík and Mosfellsveit has grown into a fourth-generation, family-run operation that still works the same way it always has — everything in-house, everything under our own roof. We run a full range of travel services, from day tours and multi-day group journeys to private trips, glacier excursions, airport transfers, and tailored itineraries for both groups and individuals. The vehicles are ours, the drivers work closely with us, and every coach, minibus, and highland truck is maintained by our own team in the company garage. That’s how we keep control, and that’s how we keep the standard.
