Smarter Car is a smartphone app that can auto-detect and avoid traffic accidents using only the driver's smartphone with no additional hardware needed. The app uses the sensors in the driver's smartphone to detect if an accident happened or to warn the driver to avoid traffic accidents with another car that is in a collision course with his car.
