SlateOne is a skills networking platform. It allows recruiters and professionals to find and network within and with each other, based on skills and a skills index /skill score. The skill index is a measure of the real knowledge that a professional has for that skill. The more knowledge the professionals shares with their skill group and collects quality ratings, higher will their skill index be. Additionally it takes into consideration three more parameters: The total years of experience in that skill, the professionals self evaluation and Peer opinion about the professional’s capabilities. Higher the skills index better will be the chances to be discovered for networking, business and employment opportunities. SlateOne has a unique algorithm to evaluate the skills of the users. The ratings are a quantified evaluation between 1 to 5 - 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
