SlateBox provides a mashable, embeddable visualization platform for next-generation (web 2.0) applications. It is built to provide any number of users instant collaboration on the same canvas. Diagrams, flowcharts, organization charts, uml diagrams, database schemas, family trees -- these are some of the traditional uses of the software. Additionally, SlateBox can be used to visualize and markup other ideas, including office layouts, floorplans, event planning, and others. Using the public API, developers can mash-up content from across the web into these visual "slates" -- flash- and javascript-based widgets can be embedded as well as plain text and html.
