In 2016, Kerry Washington launched her production company, Simpson Street, which recently produced Hulu’s “Little Fires Everywhere” and Netflix’s AMERICAN SON. The film received a PGA nomination as well as three NAACP nominations. Her other producing credits include the WGA Award-winning CONFIRMATION, ABC’s “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” and Magnolia’s upcoming documentary THE FIGHT. Washington is currently in production for Ryan Murphy’s THE PROM for Netflix - she will star opposite Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman.
