Sierra Sun is a community newspaper that covers crime, business, sports, environment, education, and entertainment in Truckee and Tahoe. The newspaper’s print edition is published on Wednesdays and Fridays and its website, www.sierrasun.com, is updated daily. Sierra Sun was launched in 1869 and its operations are based in two offices in California: Truckee and Tahoe City.
