ShowDown Entertainment started out as a host for BarCraft events that included StarCraft 2, League of Legends, and DotA 2. Those that have attended these events may remember when they hosted at another bar in San Francisco named Dear Mom. When ShowDown hosted a League of Legends Worlds 2013 viewing party at the Folsom Street Foundry, it was the first step towards producing more large scale gaming-centric events. This lead to a partnership with the Folsom Street Foundry’s venue and ShowDown began hosting SF Game Nights.
