She Tried It is a social enterprise platform that is redefining womxnhood through curated and unconventional lifestyle experiences for womxn of color. She Tried It acknowledges that womxn have life experiences that are often unequal to male counterparts. When intersectional identifiers like age, race and gender are weighed; the scales tilt further in the form of lower pay, higher rates of sexual harassment and lower self agency. We have ambitions to tackle these issues by providing tools and experiences that we hope are catalysts for personal, professional and social change in the way womxn are seen and see themselves. Our ideal outcomes are: - womxn are equipped with tools to navigate male dominated spaces - womxn better prioritize their own personal needs and self care - womxn have more and stronger allies that actively use their power & privilege help advance equality. - womxn are bold, confident and unwavering in pursuing personal and professional interests.
