About company

The Swiss Game Developers Association (SGDA) is an independent association and advocacy group that acts as a representative of the Swiss game development industry. It represents companies in Switzerland involved in the creation, development, publishing, and distribution of games. The association runs events, providing networking opportunities for its members and a platform for collaboration and discussion; assists with business development and funding opportunities for its members, both within Switzerland and internationally; contributes to public policy discussions on behalf of its members regarding the games industry; and represents its members to foster legal frameworks in the games industry. Membership of the SGDA is open to any company or body engaged in the games industry or associated industries in Switzerland. The Swiss Game Developers Association was co-founded by Matthias Sala, Reto Senn, and Robbert van Rooden in 2012 and is based in Zürich, Switzerland.
