About company

The Company has developed a photonic and electrochemical method to extract metals from aqueous mixed solutions. The photonic component of the process irradiates solutions with X-ray, UV, or longer wavelength photons to excite only the desired element(s), lifting them over the energy barrier to chemically reduce the element. The electrochemical component of the process uses conventional electroplating techniques to deposit that element. The company has demonstrated the effectiveness of its process applied to static solutions and is developing continuous-flow systems (e.g. streams of solutions bearing ore). Other flow applications include the extraction of contaminants such as lead and arsenic in industrial processes. The Company anticipates discovery of other applications and processes.
