SENSOR LINE is a private limited company (GmbH) which was founded in 1996 by the late President Friedrich Motzko as a technology spin-off from TDW Schrobenhausen (DaimlerChrysler Aerospace, today EADS group). There, research on advanced fiber optic sensor technologies has been conducted since the early Nineties. As early as 1997, the first Sensor Line SPZ fiber optic traffic sensor was introduced to the market.
