Launched in October 2013, Sellegit is a unique, online marketplace for local trading. Unlike traditional auction sites, Sellegit uses the Dutch auction system, where sellers select a maximum item price that drops over time. Each auction ends when the first user clicks “Buy”, so buyers don’t need to wait until the end of an auction to win. At the same time, our price-dropping mechanism ensures that each seller gets the highest price for their item.
