SelfSense Technologies is a medical company which developed a device that will revolutionize the diagnosis and management of tooth grinding. The SmartSplint device is the companies first product and is the outcome of four years of collaborative research. The project has received over €700,000 in grant funding from Enterprise Ireland, Science Foundation of Ireland and the Health Research Board. In 2015, the company received €100,000 investment from the NDRC and completed its Venture Lab accelerator program.
