The story of "Twelve Sixteen" was founded in 2005 when four entrepreneurs from the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Pordenone participated in the Start Cup 2005 competition between innovative business ideas promoted by the Human Parainfluenza Virus and the University of Udine. The first move of the winning team was to opt for an excellent partner that was searched and identified in the CRO of Aviano. The CRO (Oncological Referral Center), Aviano (PN) is one of the eight Institutes for Research, Hospitalization and Health Care (IRCCS) operating in Italy in oncology and has as its institutional tasks of the design and conduct of research to improve knowledge of the causes to prevent, diagnose and treat tumors in innovative ways.
