The ‘Seafarms’ name reflects our evolution over the past three years from being solely an aquaculture developer to now becoming a substantial aquaculture operator as well. We continue to steadily progress Project Sea Dragon – our large-scale, greenfield asset development project – but with the acquisition of the Seafarm prawn farm, the Crystal Bay Prawns® brand and Coral Sea Farm in Queensland, Seafarms is now also one of the largest aquaculture asset operators in Australia. The adoption of the name Seafarms better reflects the company’s new business and our ongoing strategic intent – developing and undertaking acquaculture operations to produce the highest quality seafood.
