Seabait has revolutionised the supply of live marine worms for anglers. Seabait ragworms are a very versatile bait, attracting a very broad range of fish species. The worms are ideal in murky, silt-laden water where a strong scent is essential for good catches. They are also perfect in clear water conditions where their bright colour and good movement make them highly visible. Traditional methods of bait supply by digging worms from the intertidal areas have always been fraught with problems. Relatively few areas exist where marine worms can be collected economically, sustainably or without causing damage to the environment. Add to this the problems of access due to tides and season, and problems with worm quality and size, and it is no wonder that, when the first Seabait products were launched in the 1980s, anglers all round the coast of the UK said 'YES!'.
