The company was founded in Denmark in 2009, in the face of increasing concern about climate change, to respond to two of the key energy challenges of the future : To help communities in the developing world achieve economic growth coupled to clean energy. To help developed countries reduce the high costs and CO2 emissions associated with existing street lighting infrastructure.
