The predecessor of Satis-TL-94 was a small company founded in 1991 by the employees of Academician A.L.Mints Radiotechnical Institute engaged in the development of radar and information systems: KB Impuls developed and manufactured satellite earth stations, stands for amplitude and phase measurements of antennas and on the satellite TV solutions.. Satis-TL-94 was registered as the legal entity in 1994, the graduates of Physics and Technology Institute, Aviation Institute and other leading Russian institutes joined the team and the company pursued the work started in KB Impuls. During the first three operational years the company delivered more than 80 self-manufactured satellite earth stations with antenna sizes of 2.4m, 3.5m and 5.0m.
