SafeInternet believe the Internet is too important in people’s daily lives and too integral to their economy to be the Wild West. To fulfill its promise, the Internet must be a place where people feel safe and secure. They are curating the most important information on the topics that matter to us as an organization and they present them on this website as well as reaching out to relevant 3rd parties to widen the distribution and therefore reach as many people as possible. They were founded in 2009 and operate from a base in the USA although their organization is entirely staffed by volunteers and funded through generous support from individuals and corporate entities.
