RSPCA Doncaster Rotherham and District Branch is a local branch of the RSPCA who work to rehabilitate and rehome animals in need including dogs, cats, rabbits. The charity has South Yorkshire Animal Centre located just outside Bawtry and is self funded. RSPCA DRB has four charity shops in Thorne, Maltby, Rossington and Bawtry, an ebay shop and depop shop. It holds regular fundraising events including raffles, quiz's, fun dog show, microchipping events. Welfare vouchers for neutering and vet treatment are available for those in the local community in receipt of benefits.
