Roots of Hope, or Raíces de Esperanza, is an international network of 5,000 young people who care deeply about the future of Cuban youth. Founded in 2003, Roots is a non-profit, non-partisan group that empowers Cuban youth through technology, entrepreneurship and travel. Through our programs like StartUpCuba.org and our wholly-owned subsidiary DiscoverCuba.co, we inspire young people across the globe to think about - and proactively support - our young counterparts on the island through innovative means.
