About company

Rockville Bank opened its doors for its first day of business in Rockville, Connecticut in 1858, declaring $175 in total assets. Twenty local businessmen assembled and incorporated the new bank to serve the financial needs of the Rockville community. The primary objective was to help the good citizens of Rockville by taking all monies received and making loans to local families to help them own their own homes. Twenty-four years later, in 1882, United Bank was established in West Springfield, Massachusetts, and began its equally impressive history of commitment to helping local residents realize their dreams of home ownership.
