Hey there. Robert Mims, journalism student, college sports fan, and avid weekend golfer, at your service. What began as my pilgrimage to Graceland became a love affair with America’s Valley of Music kings. I eventually decided to study here, hoping to get acquainted with the roots of rock and roll while teeing off at the fairways every chance I get. I’m currently attending the University of Memphis, studying journalism. To hone my writing skills, I started a series of blogs called CPA, named for my own approach to work–life balance and focused on my interests—golf, mainly, plus a few things on college sports and the rather famous on-off rivalry between Memphis and Louisville.
