RitzPix is Back and Under New Ownership Effective 2/2/2018! Celebrating 100 Years! A name dating back to 1918 RitzPix started as a portrait studio on the famous boardwalk in Atlantic City. In 1936 the first Ritz Camera stores opened in Washington, DC offering black and white film processing, developed and printed overnight for only 25 cents a roll. In 2000, RitzPix.com was launched providing online access to photos uploaded from Ritz Camera store locations, allowing customers to share photos with friends and family via the internet. In the following years, RitzPix.com grew to become an online photo finishing destination offering prints, photo books, photo greeting cards, photos on canvas and hundreds of personalized photo gifts. In 2018 RitzPix.com was acquired and is now owned and operated by a team of former Ritz Camera Associates with over 112 years of combined experience in the photo industry.
