Ride Bid Inc. is the parent company of Ridebid.com, a reverse auction marketplace for livery service. Ridebid.com simultaneously solves the frustration of consumers trying to research pricing and service as well as vendors who have up to 50% idle fleet capacity and no way to see all the rides in a marketplace. Formed in 2008 by a group of frequent travelers, Ride Bid wants to make booking a ride as easy to do online as buying an airplane ticket, reserving a hotel room or renting a car. By bringing standardization, an open marketplace where everyone can see the pricing for rides and mobile booking tools, Ride Bid envisions a world where everyone can afford quality livery transportation whenever they cannot drive themselves.
