The founders and partners of RESRODEL have over 50 years collective experience working in Project Based Enterprises (PBEs) or providing ERP technology for the EPPM sector. In this time, they lead projects and participated in countless estimates (of effort) and schedules prepared for projects. They also saw the consequences of poor resource planning by their PBE. They lead attempts to collate all project resource information into a single system for the PBE using spreadsheets, schedules and database systems. Searches for relevant and complete solutions for the PBE environment also proved unsatisfactory. From this experience, insight was gained into the challenges of good resource management in PBE environments that included process, awareness, access, technology, integration, and organization. RESRODEL is the response to these insights and a determination to ensure the resource management mission for Project Based Enterprise's is as good as it should be.
