ResilSoft has developed proprietary and patented technology (EU patent number EP2470994, USPTO patent number 8793216) to offer a cost-effective solution to database fault tolerance, providing protection against both fail-stop and non-fail-stop faults and improved performance. DivSQL is a high performance, ultra-reliable data storage implemented using software design diversity. ResilSoft Limited, registered in the United Kingdom (08198880), is a “spin-out” from the research group at the Centre for Software Reliability (CSR), City University London, that did the initial research underlying the DivSQL technology. Members of the academic staff at CSR form the company and are the Executive Directors of ResilSoft Ltd.
