About company
Reset the Net is a campaign that encourages users to secure their websites and apps with encryption in order to block the mass surveillance conducted by the NSA. The campaign suggests users to add SSL, HSTS, PFS, cert pining, and end-to-end encryption to their websites, apps, and third party codes. Its privacy pack contains a list of security apps, tools, and tips that can be used to encrypt devices, websites, operating systems, passwords, emails, chats, and more. Reset the Net was launched on June 5, 2014, by Fight for the Future, a non-profit advocacy group on the internet, and all users were expected to run its splash screen on their websites and apps in order to promote free software for end-to-end encryption.
