Nobound, an investment app, is making it so much easier for people in diaspora to invest back in their home countries. They stand to earn higher returns on their investments, than they would in their resident countries and their investments serves as a much needed boost to the local economies back in their home countries. Nobound's initial target demographic includes over 1 million Africans in diaspora, who remitted over $40 billion back to their home countries in 2018 (a figure that is projected to grow year-on-year). Nobound's objective is to convert a portion of those remittances into sustainable local investments. Currently, it is difficult for target diaspora communities to invest back in their home countries, largely due to red-tapes and lack of awareness - Nobound addresses these problems and more.
