Founded in 1989, Baltimore, MD-based Red Bag Solutions provides technology, equipment and services for on-site processing of medical and bio-hazardous waste. The company has manufactured and sold its patented Steam Sterilization and Maceration (SSM) systems throughout the world. In November 2011, RBS launched its patent-pending Ozone Sterilization and Maceration (OSM) system. Like SSM technology, OSM processed waste is sterile, safe and unrecognizable. It can be recycled or disposed of with ordinary municipal trash.
