EFRTS (Electronic Funds and Receipt Transfer System) is a logical solution where card payment receipts are sent to users’ bank account as digital receipts. Users can select any particular transaction and see all the details associated with it as a complete receipt. They can also add in options such as ’save’, ’print’, and ’email’. EFRTS is sponsored and maintained by Receipt Reliance, an Australian company that promotes and encourages the electronic storage of receipts.
