Rec Room was cofounded in 2018 by Val Young & Dre Taylor Lindsay. After living in traditional athleisure for years and always finding themselves under- or inappropriately dressed as they transitioned through the day, founders Val and Dre made it their mission to build something better. They have experience in consumer goods & tech and both advised leading retail & apparel companies as management consultants with The Boston Consulting Group.
