About company

Ravel is a startup company that develops a compact and safe mining system for thin ore deposits. Their technology leaves little trace upon the environment during and after mining that enables development of small deposits stranded by high capex or limited social license to operate. Inspired by earthworm and technology from the offshore oil and gas industry, its system opens up thin prospects needed by conventional mining methods and by environmental concerns. Ravel was founded in 2018 and is based in Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway.
