R.E. Chaix & Associates was started in 1987 by Roger Chaix, Jr. in Tustin, CA. It began as a one man operation specializing in unique and unusual risks throughout the State of California. With in a few years, R.E. Chaix & Associates grew to three underwriters and a premium volume over 7 million. By the year 2000, R.E. Chaix & Associates added more underwriters, products, and increased its volume to 15 million. In 2003, we branched out and started a second location in Napa, CA. In 2005, we added one more location in Rancho Cucamonga, and in 2009 they added their fourth location in San Diego, CA. Today, with Tim Chaix as President, R.E. Chaix & Associates has over 40 very dedicated employees of which 16 are brokers/underwriters. They have expanded their products to provide Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, Commercial Auto/Garage, Marine and Inland Marine.
