About Purdue Exponent

About company

The Exponent, an independent college newspaper published by the Purdue Student Publishing Foundation. The Exponent is primarily a student operation. There are approximately 100 students who work at the newspaper and six full-time professionals. All student staff members receive stipends for their work. Exponent alumni include politicians, physicians, lawyers, judges, professors, advertising executives, business leaders, scientists, miltitary pilots, commercial pilots, engineers and, of course, journalists. Their alumni have won five Pulitizer Prizes in journalism, two Emmys and one Oscar, as well.
