Psionic Software provides network security solutions. It offers its solutions in combination with intrusion detection and response systems. The company’s products include ClearResponse, which works with network intrusion detection systems to eliminate false alarms, escalate critical attacks, and aid in remediation of intrusions; and TriSentry, which provides host security for UNIX-based platforms. Psionic Software, Inc. was founded in 2000 in Austin, Texas and was purchased by Cisco Systems in 2002.
