Prown provides a simple way for brands to greatly reduce their counterfeit market and enables customers to easily verify the origin of goods they want to buy. This is done by assigning a digital certificate to each item that is intended to be transferred alongside it. Specifics of the item are embedded into the certificate, so it cannot be swapped with another one, and because we use blockchain technology, the certificate cannot be faked or tampered with. Because of its characteristics, the certificate serves as a proof of authenticity and quality, but also as a proof of ownership.
