Prosystems IT GmbH was founded in 2004 as the legal successor to Proservice Gesellschaft für IT und Dienstleistungen mbH, from the IT departments of Stadtsparkasse Köln and Kreissparkasse Köln as well as Sparkassen-Dienste-Zentrum GmbH & Co KG and ITZ GmbH. Core tasks were the provision of services in the areas of information technology and data processing as well as the trading of software and hardware for savings banks.
