Helios is developing a reactor that can process lunar soil and Martian soil to oxygen and metals. The company solution is unique as its output yields two highly crucial materials at the same time, and it doesn’t require earth brought consumables. They seek to enable the establishment of a permanent base on the Moon. Another potential use of our reactor can be to supply oxygen from the lunar surface to earth orbit, as it requires 26 times less energy than launching it from Earth. The company was founded in 2018 and is based in Israel.
