Cervical cancer is caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus. Globally, 110 million women are screened every year with 7-10% sent to clinic for examination, But 2 in 3 of them don’t need any treatment. Precidar Diagnostics are developing a laboratory test that can be used to ‘triage’ screen positive women with true disease without additional clinic visits. Our technology has the potential for wide adoption and will have global impacts in reducing cervical healthcare costs and improving women’s health.
