Powdertech Surface Science are experts in the application of chrome-free pre-treatment and powder coatings for lightweight alloy materials, such as aluminum and magnesium, in the automotive, aerospace, architectural and other niche industries. We have recently developed and patented a new mixed material joining process called Powderbond. This new system provides benefits in three key areas: Process: Minimal process steps with the bond created during the molding process. Lean. Design: Freedom for designers to incorporate metal parts into structure body. Performance: Multi-material process giving high bond strengths. The Powderbond suite of joining techniques is in development, with further processes due in the near future.
