It is designed to be used by designers, storeowners and people who are working in fashion businesses. As opposed to other e-commerce platforms Portable Shops offers features that are customised to boutiques, designers and brands in the fashion space and is fully customisable, offering templates and an API for developers. It was first launched to Australian and New Zealand customers in November in 2009.
