PONS is a machine learning approach for automatic identification of ultrasound (US) scans that have important anatomical brain features, and extraction of regions from the identified US scans that contain important anatomical brain features. The US probes and tech haven't changed too much for the last 25 years. PONS's target is to create a wearable US device that can learn and help first responders and ambulance doctors on pre-diagnostics on the way to the hospital or on difficult circumstances on the field. Pons develops a machine learning software that converts traditional ultrasound systems and devices into smart and AI-driven diagnostics and non-robotic navigation system focusing on brain problems and neurosurgeries.
