Point North Energy is a northern-focused natural gas production company which began trading on the TSX in November 2005. Point North is a major participant in the exploration and development of the natural gas potential of the Fort Liard, NWT area. In addition, Point North will focus attention on strategic new resource plays and continue with the optimization of its existing land inventory. Point North is the successor company to Purcell Energy Ltd. It was created as the result of a Plan of Arrangement that closed on November 2 2005. Point North trades on the TSX under the symbol PNY.
